The "Carpe Diem" spirit encourages living life to its fullest, to seize each day as though it were your last, to cherish dearly each day you live. It's about taking risks to live a full and rewarding life. It's the spirit that Maverick's keep close to their hearts -- and one that I keep close to mine. It's my mantra. Dear Potential/New Graduate Student: It seems like just yesterday but I graduated from the M.A. in Media Studies Program at The New School on May 19, 2007. It is an EXCELLENT program and highly recommended to all considering graduate study in various mediums: Film, Web, Audio, and Video. I started this blog on July 17, 2006 in order to help new students in the Media Studies program and also to provide enlightening information to prospective students. My goal is to share my personal insights, experiences, and courses taken as a graduate student in this remarkable program. I welcome your comments and any questions you may have about the program. Use this blog as a source of information about the graduate program in Media Studies at The New School. With that said, I open the discussions to your thoughtful comments, questions, and any shared experiences.
